WHO ARE WE …
Bengalees of New England (BNE) is an association of people in Greater Boston, whose mother tongue is Bengali — or who are otherwise interested in the heritage of Bengal.Since 2004, we have led the effort to bring together the Bengali community of Greater Boston in celebrating our diverse cultural heritage.
At BNE we build and fosters friendship and understanding between the people of Bengal, India and other countries through promotion of traditional and modern art forms including (but not limited to) language, customs, dress, food, music, dance, poetry, drama, literature.
We maintain a flat organizational structure. We believe in teamwork, open discussions, and transparent communication. Here are the links to our Constitution and By-Laws which governs our Executive committee decisions and all activities.
We are a registered non-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization.
